As one or two of you are aware we have been out of the country since the beginning of January on our slightly belated honeymoon which we spent travelling Australia following a brief but fantastic stay in Bali.
As you can imagine we have taken one or two pictures on our travels and will be posting these over the coming weeks.
We are back in the office from today and will endevour to catch up with all the ansaphone messages and hundreds of emails over the next few days, which have come through to the office whilst we have been away.
Thanks for your patience while we catch up.

Back on the 19th July 2001 we photographed the wedding of Klaus and Helen in York.
Fast forward to 2006! Helen told us the great news that they were expecting a baby boy - Dylan.
Since then we have met on several occasions to document the first year of Dylan’s life.
We met Dylan when he was only 2 weeks old.
In February 2007 we photographed Dylan’s Christening which was attended by many nationalities, including but not limited and in no particular order, German, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Welsh, American, Mexican, Iranian, and we were the English contingent.
Again in July we met and this time it was great to see Helen’s mum and dad who we hadn’t seen since the wedding back in 2001.
Finally we had a shoot for Dylan’s first birthday. It’s amazing how much he has changed in what is such a short period of time.
Dylan the musician…..
Dylan the action man…..
Dylan the entertainer…..
Dylan the family man…..
Dylan the ladies man….. (with mum)

Occasionally we photograph twins, but it’s less often that we get to meet and photograph triplets as we did on a recent shoot in Derbyshire. The weather was good with some fabulous autumnal light and there was still some colour around.
Our young models this time were Edward, Gemma and Ella.
Three very different characters, who kept us on our toes, but it was a great shoot.
I can’t help thinking though that somehow Edward, Gemma and Ella were slightly disappointed as they were really expecting Martha Monkey to come and take their pictures.

We are currently out of the office for the next few days at the Yorkshire Crafts for Christmas event which is taking place at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
If you need to get hold of Mark or I please call the office number as normal and leave a message. One of us will check these through the day, or send an email and we will get it when we return each evening.
Many thanks.
Sue

I recently had a shoot with Adrian, Melanie, Samual and Oliver. It’s great this time of year as there is no shortage of colours and textures when shooting outdoors. One of the many things I love about location portraits is the ability to use the landscape and settings I find myself in. We decided to take advantage and headed to Fewston Reservoir which is a lovely location.
Here are the Dalby’s
Here’s Samual
And not forgetting Oliver

A little later than I hoped due to a totally hectic last couple of weeks here is the first of a few updates.
Sue and I met with Stacey and her younger sister almost two weeks ago. The weather was great, the light was fantastic and we all headed for Pontefract Castle. Here are some of our favourites for a sneak preview and there are lots more for Stacey to choose from.

Last Friday, Sue, John and I had a Fantasic day with a great crowd at Clearwell Castle.
It was Edward and Sara’s wedding and it’s always good doing a wedding when you already know some of the guests.
The venue looked fabulous and the weather held for us.
Here are just a few of our favourite images although keep checking back as we will probably keep adding to this post.
Here’s an infra red image of Clearwell
Sara’s beautiful dress
How relaxed is this? The wedding was one of the most relaxed we’ve ever photographed
Edward was getting ready just along the landing
Sara never stops smiling
